The Tamarind Restaurant

The Tamarind Restaurant was the first Indian restaurant in London to be awarded a Michelin Star.

Chef Atul Kochhar brought a new dimension to fine Indian dining bringing traditional recipes with modern twists to his client fan base and his amazing culinary skills earned him the accolade of being described by Pru Leith as ‘the master of spice.’

Eddie Stableford worked closely with Atul and the marketing team of The Tamarind Restaurant to faithfully replicate a range of marinades, sauces and chutneys for large scale production and sale through multiple retailers.

He also conceived two new ‘spice for rice’ products and also sourced mini poppadums, perfect for dipping.
