No Catch Just Cod was the apt name created for Johnson’s Seafarms based in Shetland, leaders in aquaculture and the first fisheries business to breed cod organically.
No Catch Just Cod was launched with wild cod stocks rapidly diminishing and it was a brand that caught the imagination of retailers and consumers alike.
The business won fifteen awards including Best Brand & Best Packaging Design and achieved a rate of sale in Tesco and Sainsbury’s at three times standard cod despite a price point which was more than double per kg.
No Catch Just Cod was also heavily featured in the media including BBC Countryfile.
