A phone conversation with Rod Garnham of Taylor Farms about a shortage of potatoes for good quality crisps sparked an idea and a few months later Corkers Crisps were born.

Work started on exploring artisan flavour combinations and manufacturing solutions whilst sector research was undertaken to gain a knowledge of the crisps and snacks categories.

With preliminary designs complete, a set of consumer focus groups were commissioned to evaluate candidate flavours, design options and positioning statements.

Corkers Crisps went on to become the fastest growing UK crisp brand with widespread distribution across the multiple retailers and the trael sector including British Airways, Virgin Trains and Stenna Line.
