A programme of work relating to product positioning and proposition, product formulation, manufacturing and brand strategy for Barracudos Protein Drink.
The protein drink category is super-competitive so determining a winning proposition was key.
We undertook extensive research which identified an opportunity for a refreshing drink with a lower protein content than existing, sector products.
As a consequence, the product development brief was to create a product that was first and foremost thirst quenching and refreshing and yet with an efficacious protein level.
And in doing so, a brand look and feel that would appeal equally to all sexes was defined by my research activity.

Liaison with packaging supplier through specification, structural mock-up and proofing stages.
As a result, Barracudos protein drink went on to become a firm favourite with gym goers and achieve both UK and international distribution.
