Hi there, I’m Jocelyn Davies. I first met Eddie in 2015 whilst interning for a marketing agency in my home-town of Cambridge.
I sought out the internship to build up some experience as part of my Marketing degree at Durham University.
Although I wasn’t hired to be part of Eddie’s team, seeing his work on branding, peaked my curiosity.
I went on to join Eddie’s team in client brand ideation sessions.
The time spent in these meetings made me certain that a career in branding was for me.
What really excited me is branding in the food and drink world, two of my passions meshed together.
My first major project with Eddie was Boombod which went on become the fastest growing weight loss brand in both the UK & the US and was sold for a significant sum by the owners within 2 years of launch.
Since then, I’ve worked in different industries including, tech and non for profit but I’m always drawn back to food and drink branding and it’s where I see my future.
I left the town of Cambridge on a mission to travel and see a big chunk of the world and I’m currently in Thailand and have joined forces with Eddie again, helping start up food and drink business turn their ideas into successful products through my role as a researcher.
This involves competitor research, seeing what’s already out there and what’s not. I love it. I learn so much about so many different types of products, brands and sectors and work on on how we can best optimise and future proof ideas..
My role also allows me to think about potential routes for business ideas. I’m super creative so my brain gets full of ideas with colours, brand formats, packaging ideas, unique ingredient blends and routes to market.
